We are delighted to offer two Teaching Fellow positions, both term-time only, providing an excellent opportunity for professionals seeking a rewarding role with enhanced work–life balance. These posts are ideally suited to individuals who are passionate about supporting the next generation of veterinary professionals while benefiting from the flexibility that aligns with the academic year.

These roles will deliver practical sessions such as clinical skills and animal handling teaching. The roles may also involve supporting teaching and educational activities at external or off-site locations. Successful candidates may also be involved in student selection events, student assessments, and preparing and supporting students on their placements.

Applicants must be a registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) or Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS) (or eligible to register with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)). You must have experience of working within a clinical veterinary setting and knowledge of current UK veterinary practice. You will be able to communicate clinical concepts clearly, use your experience to support students in developing their practical skills and contribute to an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

This is a great opportunity to gain further insight and experience into teaching at our School and will provide a fabulous platform to develop your portfolio career. No previous teaching experience is required, just a passion for veterinary medicine, veterinary education, and support of our students.

We have a fantastic package of rewards and lifestyle benefits – from an attractive annual leave entitlement to access to a comprehensive employee benefits platform which includes a 24/7 online GP. Our people are our most important asset. We'll encourage you to make the most of your talents and continually develop your skills and knowledge.

We are proud to be a diverse, multicultural university. We are committed to building a truly inclusive culture where diversity is championed. Applications are particularly welcomed from individuals who will support the diversification within the University and support its development of a culture that is inclusive and welcoming to all.
