The Senior Developer role sits within the Delivery & Operations pillar of the Digital, Data and Technology Group.

As a Senior Developer (SITS) within the Platforms & Applications group, the postholder will work on the University's Student Record System – a critical system for recruiting students, managing their academic journey, and awarding degrees.

They will be responsible for the development, configuration, support, and maintenance of the University's Tribal SITS software, along with related applications, services, and integrations.

The Senior Developer (SITS) will join a small team working closely with data owners across the University – including Admissions, Academic Registry, and Finance – to ensure the system is configured to support the efficient operation of the institution. The University is currently migrating its core applications to cloud platforms, and experience with similar migrations (even on different systems) will be of interest.

The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in supporting and configuring Tribal SITS, as well as integrating SITS within other University applications. In addition to in-application configuration, candidates will need technical skills in HTML, JavaScript, SQL, Git, and related tools.

A market supplement of up to £4,000 may be offered at the University's discretion, based on skills and experience.

Note: The role title 'Senior Developer (SITS)' is for advertising purposes only. If successful, your role title will be Senior Developer (Student Systems).

This is a full-time (36.5 hours per week), permanent role.
